Radiator & Cooling System Repair

Radiator and Cooling System Repair Services

If your temperature gauge is climbing, your vehicle is overheating, or you are losing coolant without an obvious leak, bring it in and we will get to the bottom of it.

How the Cooling System Works

The cooling system keeps your engine operating within a safe temperature range. Coolant circulates through the engine block, absorbs heat, passes through the radiator to cool down, and then cycles back through. The water pump keeps the coolant moving, the thermostat regulates temperature, and the radiator fans assist cooling when the vehicle is stationary or moving slowly. When any part of this system fails, engine temperature rises quickly.

Common Cooling System Problems

Coolant leaks are one of the most frequent issues we see, whether from a cracked radiator, a blown hose, a faulty water pump seal, or a leaking heater core. A stuck thermostat can cause the engine to overheat or run too cold. Radiator caps that no longer hold pressure cause coolant to escape through the overflow. We inspect the full system to find where the problem is originating.

What We Repair and Replace

We replace radiators, water pumps, thermostats, radiator and heater hoses, coolant reservoir tanks, radiator caps, and cooling fans. For more serious issues like head gasket failures caused by overheating, we handle those repairs as well. After any cooling system repair, we pressure test the system and verify it is holding before the vehicle leaves the shop.
